Good morning! So, yes - I made it to Oklahoma City last night - just after midnight - after driving for most of the day on I-40. I was so glad to pull of the road and check into a motel and rest and get some sleep. I could have used some more but I need to carry on to St. Louis today.
The drive was beautiful - even more so with the touches of snow all around. Luckily no bad weather followed me and the roads were fairly clear. I made my stops along the way - Albuquerque and Amarillo - and a few others too for gas and snacks. And now I'm ready to finish it up - about 8 hours to go.
I'll post photos later but for now this is all - I need to get moving.
