final hours of SXSW - day 15

So yes - it's all over here - well for us anyway. Tomorrow morning we get up and start the long drive to Nashville. I am looking forward to being back in that town, seeing friends - although one of my good friends there just moved here to Austin. But still, it'll be good to get away from this craziness that overtakes this city for several days. I longing for a full night of sleep, since lately we've been staying up to the early morning hours chatting away.
The 2 shows today went well. At 6 this evening we played out at Sam's Town Point which is south and out of town a ways, but worth the drive. It has a very laid back feel to it and that was perfect after the madness of the main part of town. I had some minor technical difficulties during the set - but we figured it out and continued on. The second one was at Uncorked and was a prefect setting to end our shows here. It was outside and the patio where you play is right where you can see the whole downtown. It was very nice to see it all - and also the weather was great - it did get a little chilly but it was nice overall.
There was more that happened during the day but I need to get some sleep and get ready for the drive in the morning.
So - so long to Austin, for now, and I'll see you next month.
yours truly,
Jeremiah
